Making the Move From Apartment to House

You’ve been saving for several years, you’ve finally been able to buy your first home, and what you’re most excited about is moving out of your little apartment and into a large house. You’ve been paying rent to a landlord or property management company for what seems like forever, but now you get to look forward to mortgage payments instead. Financials aside, you are truly excited to move from an apartment into a house, except you still need a reliable moving company to safely transport your belongings. That’s where Billy Goat Moving in Fort Collins comes in – as your moving company, we’ll make the transition from apartment to house as easy as possible.

Packing and Organizing Each Room

Obviously, if you’ve been living in a 750-square-foot apartment for a few years, your possessions aren’t going to completely fill a 2,000-square-foot house. However, it can still be beneficial to pack and organize one room at a time, labeling each box with “Bedroom” or “Living Room” as you move through the apartment; that way, when we move your things into your new house, we can place everything in the appropriate room. This will make it easier and less time-consuming to unpack and put things away, allowing you to get settled in your new home sooner rather than later.

If you’ve recently purchased a new home in Northern Colorado, and are ready to leave your tiny apartment behind, contact Billy Goat today. We’ll devise the best moving plan for all of your things, and have you in your new house in no time at all!
